Sarah Morris’s Points on a Line analyses two important modernist buildings in the United States and their history: the Farnsworth House in Plano, Illinois, by Mies van der Rohe, and the Glass House, in New Canaan, Connecticut, by Philip Johnson. Although the film documents the buildings, it also complicates notions of the copy and the original while revisiting the development of modernism.
